Ontario Palliative Care Association Philanthropist of the Year
In 1998, GlaxoSmithKline Inc. won the Ontario Palliative Care Association Philanthropist of the Year Award for outstanding charitable efforts to further hospice palliative care efforts in Ontario. The award, launched by the Ontario Palliative Care Association to foster philanthropy in hospice palliative care, is presented annually to an individual, family, corporation or community service organization in recognition of their unique or outstanding support for hospice palliative care.
